Avenue A & 9th Street was written in journals from 1999-2000. It's contents trace 3 geographic continents & an indefinite number of psychic spiritual & erotic ones. MM refers to the secret name of the protagonist of the text, divined by the author on a street corner in Manhattan. 'This work retraces a meeting'. Behind the meeting is the letter A.

About the author...

Louise Landes Levi is an author of broadsides, chap books & books. And is also a translator - see RASA, by Rene Daumal (Shivastan 2001).

She has taught at Naropa Institute & the Sullivan Country Corrections Facility and has lectured at the American College in Paris, Manhattan School of Music, and Bard College.

She is a student of Namkhai Norbu Rimpoche & gratefully thanks him for his patience & kindness.
