Dear Jacqueline,
It's early morning, predawn on the day of the first practice in the still unfinished temple. We'll do a morning Sang outside and then a Tara Tsog at 10 and finally Prajna Paramita in the afternoon.I got beautiful poetry book on my return from Brazil, wonderful feeling, the texture of it all soft and handmade. And there's Machig on the cover! Congratulations on the completion of it and your creative expression. Wonderful.

--Tsultrim Allione

Dear Jacqui:
This is to say thank you for my signed and numbered copy of your handsome chapbook on beautiful handmade paper. I was interested in the poems, their attributions, esp. the poem dedicated to Allen G. and the tender poem about your mother. (It seems to me that her life in Shanghai is fruitful material for future poems.) I've never seen leeks growing wild, tho I know the wild onion, & will now be on the alert for them. First thought is indeed the jumping-off place for poems, tho it may drift away or be discarded once the whole poem emerges. Congratulations on this, the first of what I trust will be more to come.

--Maxine Kumin

Jacqueline: I hope you still open NEC mail....I want to thank you for the gift copy of your poems...email might be the worst way available on the planet for thanking a person for their voice, but I adore the voice and mind in these poems...it is always a pleasure to encounter a poet writing about the world I move through; it doesn't often happen.

--Blessings, Kevin Harvey

Dear Jacqueline,
Your book just arrived and it is Terrific! and such a lovely edition, I sat down and read it straight through, a rare act for me. The particulars of emotions, and situations, and dreams-- so generously accessible.
Many Thanks!

Hello Jacqueline
Your book arrived and it's magnificent. I love the poems. I also love the way it's all packaged. Thanks for thinking of me-- this is a treasure I will pick up often. Very soon I'll send you my book, THE BUDDHA'S DIAMONDS.
